Helen, what happens when the refurb lens, camera, etc isn't in stock? store credit? money back? wait on the repair? new one to replace it?

We don't repair them; we simply return them to Canon. If we don't have any in stock and none are expected in within a 'reasonable' period of time you'll usually be offered a store credit - and then you contact me......

My Canon refurbished 5D MK II and 17-40 came today. Both look pretty much brand new.

I can bet you it won't be in stock, and it will more than likely get pulled before too long.

But they are telling us that there should only be a 300$ price difference used between MK1 and MK2, so that means since Mk2's are selling used for 1900-2000, I should get 1600 for mine haha.

Hmm, looks pretty picked over now.

85 1.8 not in stock any more.

Only prime I see still in stock is the 50 1.8.

Got my order a few days ago. The 17-40 L looked brand new and the 5D II had a shutter count of 57 clicks according to EOS Info. No complaints here considering the cost for both the lens and body was around $2400.
