Spent a few days in Miami this week and these guys were fighting for food along the shoreline. As an attacker came on his "6" this gull kicked up a rooster tail of water to get out of there.

Great timing Mark, nicely done. I like the different take on the theme, this fits nicely.
Thanks Travis. I thought the whole scene kind of played into the theme. In other words the motion of the birds as well as the swells of incoming waves were elements of the water in motion. I hope others see it that way too.

Great timing, focus and lighting. You are in your element here Mark
Hi Craig.... hope things are well with you. Thanks for the nice comment and I keep wondering when you'll have time for a submissiion here in the WA. I thought you were gettting on such a roll and then you stopped. I am imagining that your job must be very demanding right now. I hope that you are able to get back here soon.
Another great entry, Mark. The birds are beautifully focussed and the water droplets make the picture, not just in terms of the theme this week, but adds so much to the overall image.

Such nice words, thank you Pete. I fear the water motion is not prominent enough within the scene, but it will have to do.
