Wow, can't believe that you were able to get shots after removing a shutter blade! goes to show you that these cameras are pretty tough, and hey, if you camera is failing and you don't have a backup, just rip out the offending shutter blade! Lol

I don't understand why this thread exists. A part falls off and you have not sent it in for repair yet? Wow. Part of my car fell off. Oh well must not be needed and keep driving.
