Hi Guys
I am not happy with my Canon ST-E2 transmitter to fire my 580EX II and my 430EX
I was shooting outside in Caribbean and I could not get any flashes, very frustrating so I need to invest in real slaves system
so I was checking pocket wizard and Elinchrom radio slaves
what would you suggest for me to fire my flash but you have to know I am going to buy this year the Ranger Quadra Head A Pro Set so maybe I should buy the Elinchrom products

You are not alone.

I've used the Elinchrom Skyports a few times; I liked them. If you're going to be getting Elinchrom strobes then that seems the best way to go.
You won't have remote power control of your Speedlites, no ETTL automation, etc., but if you're willing to use manual flash, the Skyports are utterly reliable and have good range with no optical line-of-sight limitations.
I use Pocket Wizard Plus II units with complete reliability. However I had the opportunity to use some Yongnuo 603 units when assisting a friend recently. They seemed very well built and had great range. The price was very good as I have seen them on Ebay for ~$60 for a four unit pack. They are transceivers so you are not stuck with getting a transmitter and receiver combo.
I always shoot my flash setups on manual so the lack of TTL misguidance is not a an issue for me.
The only flaws in my view were they are single channel and they lack a lock on the metal foot.
As you say you are getting a Quadra system shortly these would be an inexpensive solution in the meantime
