p.1 #1 · Sitting in a park, shooting strangers with kids
Ready for some critique, added some self-critique already .
Make me cry!
1. Should have positioned myself a little lower so I could get both of the kids on there but they were moving so fast
2. Too bad of her purse not being in the frame, had a hard time choosing a focus point, I think I picked the right one by focussing on the kid but too bad that their expressions aren't interesting.
3. Love this one, maybe should have increased my DOF a bit to get both of them focussed but not sure if that would be that good. I love her proud smile. If I would have the power to freeze time I would position myself more to the right of them, shoot horizontally and added the fountain that they were enjoying, but too lazy to get up I guess

You would probably get a very hostile reaction to taking these type of pictures in the UK. Anybody with a camera near kids is assumed to be a pervert.
It's a sad day when we cannot pursue photography as a hobby without persecution!
Hmm never thought about that, I was in italy and no idea what the rules about 'random people shots' is there.
Even though I took pictures of everything that moved, I guess that's not good enough for people that would think I was being a perv.

Cool crops, will experiment some more with tighter cropping .
I sometimes accidentally zoom in too far in lightroom and be blown away by a tight crop but never try to do it on purpose I guess :P

These are very nice. I love shooting candids like this ... just bang away and sort it all out later. My DC neighborhood has a block party every July 4, and I go out and shoot a few hundred like this. These are from last summer's party:
