Every year at the beginning of Fall, a very special and strange phenomenon occurs along the Pacific Coast extending from Alaska to Patagonia. Birds of all species fly from the North down the peninisula to the South in search for food and warmer weathers. This migratory route is known to Ornithologists and bird watchers as the Pacific Flyway. Legend has it that on an extraordinarily special Fall night when the moon is in full bloom and the skies are alive with sweeping and powerful clouds reaching into the heavens, a wayward flying pig will appear and join the migration, having sprouted wings. And on this wonderous night of nights, something magical will happen to all of mankind. -W
