p.1 #1 · file back up

I use 2 external HDs to back up my photos but I see a problem that hopefully someone here can solve. Let's say I have a folder called ABC that has 300 pics on it and I often add files to it. When I go to back it up it duplicates all the files instead of just the new ones. What's the solution? Thanks, Robert

I think you're doing two thing . Add files to a folder and back up a folder is another.

My backup software Karen's Replicator doesn't duplicate any file that already exists on the backup.

Most programs don't.

Thanks, Yes that would be the answer. I just drag the folder over to the HDs and assumed it would ask if I wanted to duplicate those already there. I'll look for Karen's Replicator. Robert
