I was shooting in easy mode that day. I don't have a RAW file of the same image. I would like to have it printed out as a 16x20 poster. The problem is that a huge portion of the car gets cut out at 16x20. I'm using an online site to u/l the image and their online software. It shows grid lines and I can clearly see that a good portion of the car will be chopped out of the printed version.
I don't want the people in the car or outside to be in the printed version. So I cut them out. If you can improve on my PP version please do. If it can be changed so that the entire car will print out at 16x20 please post it back here or let me know how to fix it.
I would make the frame larger to create more air around the car. Just a personal preference. Lots of colors casts in the white, so that could be cleaned up. And the shadow details in front could be brought out to advantage, I think.
Cropping the car so near to the frame somewhat shoots yourself in the foot when you want to build additional edge space to frame for 16 x 20. One way to deal with it is to accept that it won't fill the 16 x 20 and put a pseudo-matt around the edges. The harder way is to carefully select everything except the car and shadow beneath, and then expand the canvas space to match the 16 x 20 ratio and use the clone tool to fill in the new canvas space. (Selecting to exclude the car and shadow prevents clone tool spill-over when using the clone tool to fill to the new canvas borders.)
