I just started getting interested in photography about 8 months ago when my job had me shooting antique furniture for their website. Haven't been able to do much on my own since I don't own a camera (yet) but have been able to use the one at work or a friends for some shots. I'm just beginning, but would love all the critique and help I can get. Thanks!
Oh no! Mr. Rabbit lost an ear. Stealing carrots is dangerous business.
The technical aspects are good. Good use of focus to separate positive from negative space. (In this case, foreground from background.) The warm cast works for the image. (If it wasn't intentional, try cooling the color temperature and compare the results.) I am OK with the unconventional composition, but others may complain the bottom of the rabbit is cut off by the frame and/or crowding the left border. For someone new to photography, I'd say it's good. Of course, praise may be encouraging, but it's not necessarily as useful as critical complaint.
