This set was taken with my little Nex 5n and my large and very heavy Minolta AF 100 Macro, a lens I had determined never to put on the Nex and now I have.

That red seems bit "hot". Nice pics, quite a bit of "pop" in them. First and second have a bit of 3D quality.
Yes, it is sharp and it is also f/2.8 but feels like a 300mm tele. Your are right about the red in the final pic. The others shots are all flat zero on both vibrance and saturation but the final image has those yellow tips on the flowers which are really bright. I lit them up and was not watching the red go hot!
