I generally avoid knockoff products, but I do like to keep my ears and options open. Has anyone used and have an opinion about the ST-E2 knockoff from Yongnuo? At half the price of the real deal, I feel like I want to give it some consideration.
If you haven't used one, please stay out of this one.
I did Phottix, and borrowed Yongnuo from a friend of mine. Both systems worked the same. The only "limitation" is no HSS. Otherwise, WELL worth the modest price for the kits.
I have several Yongnuo transmitters and have used them in a variety of conditions. I also have Pocket Wizards. I have not used used my PW units after using the Yongnuo's.

I recently tried my Yongnuo ST-E2 with my new 5D Mark III and it is not compatible.
