It is quiet. I haven't picked up my a-mount equipment for a couple of months, generally just use my hi-matic for day-to-day stuff. Should get back to using it over the next few weeks so will try and share if I get anything worth sharing
Nice series MM...your Sandhill is so nice and clean, ours (Greater and Lesser) have a weird habit of decorating their bodies and head with mud (camo I suppose).

Maybe, crazy maybe, they use the mud to keep insects off ??
Using the 1st gen Tam 150-600 on the a99ii. this lens has always been a fav of mine for a-mount. Maybe I got a good copy. I also have Tam 150-600 G2 in EOS mount and it's hard for me to tell one is better than the other.

Mine is too on my A99ii. Maybe the corners suck, but in the middle it's sharp & the autofocus can keep up with cars going 200 mph, so it works for me.
