I just cleared my computer cache and the new image is visible, but the older one further up on the page is not visible.

hi all,

I first posted these as a new thread, but here seems to be a better place (i will remove the separate thread). Thanks to trice and briantho for helping me on the practical side of posting actual images.

Recently i started experimenting with panorama's, and i'm enjoying it a lot.

The picture was taken yesterday maybe ten minutes before sunrise, when the light was mysteriously tranquil and dreamlike.

Another one, taken over an hour later (using 8 pictures or so) with the view on Amsterdam North:

The Amstel hotel a couple of days earlier at the end of the afternoon of a grey day. The sun was trying to get through the clouds, but never really succeeded. There's a couple of people installing lights on the roof, probably to prepare for Amsterdam Light Festival (the English version isn't working that well, unfortunately).

This one is just for fun. It combines two pictures of the same subject from different angles, creating a view one could not have in reality.

All pictures were taken with Contax G 45mm and 90mm lenses (and a Panasonic GH1 body).

Hey y'all. This thread has been great to read through and inspired me to take a stab at some panos. The goal was to emulate large-format levels of detail, and give enough detail to do perspective distortions without destroying the image.

Here is my first decent attempt - Madison Square Park in NYC, as seen from my office. It's about 16 shots, adding up to about 100MP.

There are some paralax errors I think, so I'll need to refine the technique. Maybe I'll think about a pano head. Has anyone tried this one? It's the only one I've found that's reasonably priced: http://gregwired.com/pano/pano.htm

Keep the panos and discussion coming, very interesting.

Just got my upgrade email... I will take a look at the new features, but honestly, I would be happier if they would spend their time making the interface better, and improving the algorithms. It is still quite glitchy.

I did spot a few on the vertical corner on the right, I've had good luck with Photoshop's stitching, there are a few free progs out there that may do a better job.

Damn there is some good work in this thread

Here's one with the Leica S2 and 35/2.5 summarit. I think it's about 6 vertical frames.
