Great shot rpiotr What camera do you use now ? had probably gone on 35mm for Dx and 50 for Fx as the first Zeiss I have 35 f2 on the D700 and is very happy and has 50 MP

I'm using a 5DIII now. Below is an example of I guess what I like about the 50P (and probably what a lot of people hate). The Sigma 50 1.4 would do a better job of smearing and blurring the leaves just behind and to the left of the flower, as well as above and to the right, whereas the 50P looks busier but more interesting to me. There are a few leaves even further behind that look smoother and more like standard blur. I also find the haze on the tips fo the petals pleasing, but there's still detail there in the water droplets. Just an interesting lens, or maybe it's just me!

Which of the 2 you choose, it will not be wrong .. both are very good
sooner or later, you have both in your bag
Know that there are many here in zeiss thread that are very happy with 50 P
For my pictures 50 MP works best for me
