has lowered the shadows and darkness in the background ..sometimes
I use Color Efex and where I use Darken / Lighten Center, and detail extractor
I very rarely use flash on my flower pictures :-)

I am a sucker for Porsche 356 among other evergreen designs so what can I say, nice image Carsten. The little concentrated bikerguy training in the background kind of adds to the image. I'd open up more but that's only me, is this the D800?
Actually, I did nothing, just downsized it. The light was coming straight up the street, hitting the car but missing the already dark background with people, and where I was standing it was reflecting a bit towards me. Got lucky, I guess.
