This is shot at the place where I work (I'm a lock keeper). This old barrage will soon be replaced by a new barrage, which they're building right next to this one. Any C&C are aprreciated.

Tim,
This is a beautiful photograph. And a perspective of locks I've never seen.
I learned something new about the meaning of the word "barrage," also. I'd previously thought of it only as "a projection of many things at once," as in artillery barrage, or a lot of people loudly talking at the same time, etc.

@Charlie: I'm a Belgian, so I searched in the Dutch-English dictionary for a translation.
I had several options, barrage, weir, dam... In French it's called barrage as well.
It's a construction, which is used to control the water level of the river.
Maybe 'weir' was a better option?
You are a master of low key/night time photography. You have also developed a recognizable style. I always come back to look at your images several times. The reflection really makes this one.
