Did a bit of hiking and shot Catoctin falls. Always happy to hear some feedback from you wonderful people:

Both shot with D300

Nikon 105mm VR, 1/2 second

This looks like a great area for shooting.
You exposed the water nicely in 1. I would just like to see more detail in the shadow areas.
The second one has some good colours but overall I find it too busy. A lot of the water is blown out and the contrast is a bit much for me. Perhaps you can salvage the highlights?

Nice images, but I agree with everything Ute said about #2. Everthing in #2 seems perfect besides the water, but if you darkened it to the proper exposure for the water, the rest of the photo would be too dark. Nice composition and colors, otherwise.
