Had the pleasure of photographing a model called Crystal last week and was a taken back at how she was so good in from of the camera. These 3 images were taken with a Nikon D3 24-70mm and 50mm and 100mm macro lenses. Off camera Flash was used with up to 3 flash guns.
Comments welcome and thanks for looking.
Nice use of contrasting color and lines in the composition.
Any particular reason broad vs short lighting was used for the second and third? I find short lighting more flattering because it showcases the front of the face instead of the side of the head/ear. In the case of the third shot it would have put the front of the white shirt in the shadow of the body and modeled the raised hand in a more interest way.
The first is so intense, and the lines and lighting compliment it well. The other two shots are also well done. In #2, she is strongly presented in the frame, even though there are lots of little distractions, - that strangely don't distract.
I'm going to have to agree with everyone else, I like them all and nr 1 is just wow. The background in the first seems so simple yet you made it so beautyful with the colors.
