I have one. It's pretty amazing how much stuff you can put in it. I took it on one of my trips a couple of months ago and even fully loaded (two 5DII, 24-70 L, 70-200 L IS, 15mm Fisheye, Zeiss 50, 1.4x converter) it was easier to carry than I was hoping for due to its sling bag design. There's also an option of using Kata's Insert Trolley wheels so you can roll it around airports, etc.
The only thing I would mention as a problem is the lack on a tripod holder/attachment. It can be a pain because you either carry a tripod on a separate bag or on your hand. No laptop either, if you hope to carry one. They have a similar model that can carry a laptop.

There's a pic of the unit with a Gitzo 2220 on it - Tthis actually worked fairly
well for transport, and while it did OK when you slung the bag around I also usually
had an unlined tripod bag with me and just carried the 'pod in that if I was getting
into the bag a lot... Note that this tripod is WAAAY beyond what Kata recommends
as a maximum size, but...
Since I could get a 40D with a 70-200 IS with a 1.4xtc attached, I'd think you should
be fine on the 7D/mounted lens (the 7D didn't look THAT much bigger than a 40D :-) ).
I don't use the bag to carry many separate lenses, but I'd guess you could get
the 100-400 in there as well, though I'm not sure about being able to access it
through the same hatch as the camera - Again, I can put a 40D with a 300 f/4 in the
bag as well, so maybe its possible, but I'd recommend heading down to the local
camera store with your gear (or get the measurments of the bag/your stuff
and do a little modeling) and verify this.
I'd think the laptop version would be better unless you're flying on one of the several
airlines that have an 8" maximum depth on carry-on baggage. - I use a netbook
in the field now (which fits in the top), but the notebook space would be REAL handy
for storing flash modifiers, reflectors, gray cards, documents, etc.
I don't have a 100-400 so I can't really help you...but it's a chubby lens so I don't know...it might fit but it will be very tight and I'm pretty sure you wont be able to access it from the side openings.

I decided to give this pack a try got a good deal on Ebay from a user I have bought from before. They only deal in new product plus I also got money back from using Bing
Today I have been looking at the reviews of this bag hoping I made the right choice. I have been worried about being able to carry my 7D along with the 70-200 2.8 attached and have my 100-400 on the side. Just not sure there is enough room but this review video I was watching put the larger lens like the 100-400 in the case it comes with in the top compartment. This could work out very well imo
Today I got the Kata 3n1 30 after 30 days, seems the postal service lost so so says the seller. First impression awesome pack, looks good, feels good, should hold the gear I plan to carry in it. The only thing I didn't like while trying it out in the house is the strap on my neck when I had it slung to the unload position but I think any sling bag will feel like this. But the camera and lens is very easy to retrieve and it's actually a nice rest when shooting. I believe I will like this bag and forgot it's very well made. Oh yeah when when you swing the bag to the front it's kind of cool when you unhook the snaps and just pull it open you don't have to unzip
I am looking at the little brother to this the 3n1-22 as I have a larger back pack the TT airport acceleration to cover the more gear needed and the Lowepro sling 100 for the just a body and lens or two.
I really like mine. It's my go-to bag when I want to carry my 300/4 mounted on the D700.
I have carried my 1325 legs in it, by sticking one leg through the hole where the straps are concealed, letting it emerge from the bottom hole, with the head on top.
I started with the Lowpro AW 200, a great bag for travel.
Thd only problems are:
looks like a camera bag.
I couldn't put all my gear in it.
So I needed a larger bag and I prefer back packs to regular bags,
I also like the idea of a sling bag, so the 3n1 was a natral choice,
I only have a few nit picks,
It doesn't have the micro fiber cloth to protect the camera, which is easy to solve,
the dividers are limited in where they go and how you can arrange them.
7/10
Welp just ordered the 3n1-22. I am still up in the air if the D3/70-200 will fit or not but if not I know it will take my 28-70 with the 70-200 on the side.
Well I was wrong, the D3 70-200 did not even come close to fitting, what was I thinking. It was perfect for my Sony notebook though. With the 28-70 and body on its side it fit fine but just no place for the 70-200 so back it goes and looks like it will be the 33 for me.
