Love the work! I haven't used a 15mm at f/4 so didn't realize how much DOF it delivers. The way you connected the two individuals together using the sharp focus ceiling of the rail car really ties them together.

EXIF: NIKON D90, f/4 @ 15 mm, 1/100, ISO 1600, No Flash
The original shot was just of the people in the NY subway. The rest of the effect was PP using PS CS4 with layers. I used Topaz to enhance some of the detail in the photograph, a bit of curves and levels for lighting adjustments, and then the "motion" was created using onOne's Focalpoint filter. Took quite a bit of time to get it where I liked it.
