I asked the contact person/vendor on another forum (I have my EVF ordered from him) and he asked Panasonic. They say that it is just 'rumors' that the GF1/20 kit is discontinued. In fact, he just got his GF1/20 kits in and filled his preorders. It appears that the west coast seems to get their inventory first--then possibly the stock is sent to other warehouses which service other parts of the US. He is in TX and was several days behind Amazon and Samy's for GF1/20 kit delivery.

Thanks. Yes I did, but this is a forum member and I reneged on buying the 17 from him and bought it locally, so I feel I want to honor my preorder with him for the EVF--(I got my 20 kit from Panasonic). They have their GF1/20 kits delivered and are waiting for other Panny things--the 20, the EVF and the 45 (I'm still on the fence with the 45) so it shouldn't be too much longer---I hope LOL..
