took this at the Bronx zoo this past weekend (Canon Rebel with 100mm macro lens, handheld). it's actually my first post here.

Your colors are wonderful. I'd like to see the bottom edge of the wing in this shot. The composition leads us to the interaction of the feet and flower. I have wanted to try to do some focusing stacking to get more DOF. I'd bet a series of images of this butterfly and flower would make a great practice set.

I like it.

Yes, I'm annoyed that i didn't catch the end of the wing, but like the rest of the shot enough to live with it.

focus stacking is new to me. I'll need to look into that. Assume it's akin to HDR?
