Good job, Scott. Like them all. The elk shots are great and the bear is nice also. Only nit would be that #2 is a little soft, but it's still a great capture. Still using the borrowed 300?

Lil: Babies always make a picture appealing. Extra space was not easy because he was moving and I was moving with 300mm prime to keep him in the right spot. And struggling with composition. But I agree. Thanks Scott
Marty: the elk with the big rack was tough. Getting him in the picture with 300mm prime so the antlers were not small but the composition was good. He will be big. I saw him again this morning and will see if I did better. Scott
Bigcountry: Every time I turn around I see bears. Now I am getting fussy and want grizzly with cubs or cubs. Life is tough in Jasper. Thanks for the feedback. Scott
Ron. Thank you for the feedback. I am on the road with only iphoto and pse 3 so my sharpening is challenged. Thanks you. Scott
Garen: Thank you for the feedback. Scott
Darrly: Yes still using the 300mm. It is difficult to use with the 30d. A bit too much magnification causes me to use my feet. Using the feet do not work well with bears. Thanks for the input and feedback. I think too short a depth on 2 - live and learn. Scott
Having been born in Jasper I am always envious of anyone in that area with a good camera and great opportunities..
Love the bear shots.. elk are wonderful and I can see that a 300 is almost too much glass.
Desertrat: yes in jasper 300 is too much because the animals come right to the side of the road. I think 200 would be just right. maybe that 2.8 70-200 my wife has not heard about. Thanks Desertrat. Scott
