I am posting these to see how they look for the WA, the theme of which is scary. I have an entry up now, but in my state of perpetual schizophrenia, I might change the entry! If anyone would care to comment on my psycho photo decision, feel free!!
Unless you know exactly why this environment is scary you will never guess. I suggest you reconsider your entry for the WA. Make sure you create some kind of visual impact specially when the theme is "scary".

Caley,
I agree with Sorin.
Subject matter doesnt scream scary to me.

Thanks Scott for taking the time to comment.
I was so fascinated and frankly awed by all the work and care that made these dirt bike hills, which were steep and close together, that I was too prejudiced towards my own subject matter to have an outsiders perspective.
It would have helped if there were some dirt bikers there, but alas, no.
I've had the same experience. Getting attached to an image either because the subject is so important to me. Or when I am pleased with the processing but am really missing how it looks to others...defects, lack of interest, technical errors.
And I've had images I thought were meh, that others tell me are really excellent.
I think it's time to try on the dangerous hat you proudly mention in your profile. You have enough time to create an image for this WA. I can't wait to see what you are coming up with.

Ha Ha! Thanks for pumping me up for a challenge! Not sure I will have the time, though. We shall see.
