Working as a summer student for Manitoba Conservation (normally with bear control), I recently had the chance to spend a week with our Piping Plover Guardianship program. Working as a guardian for two of the three nesting pairs in Manitoba, I had quite a few hours every morning (5:30AM to 2:00PM shifts) to photograph the Plovers before dealing with the public began to take up all my time. All of the shots were taken with a 1DMkII and 70-200 f2.8 IS.
