Alright, I thought I would give the Zenitar Fisheye($150 lens) another try to see if the last go around was just a fluke.
Man what a cool little lens. It is sharp from f2.8 up. Here a is a shot I did to see what it would look like de-fished.
Again, I'm not a landscape guy but this thing makes me want to get out and see what I can do with it. These were defished with NX.

Where did both of you Darrens buy your 16mm? I'd like to get one for my D700. Checking eBay I'm seeing goshotcamera (USA) and moscowphoto (Russia). Any other options?

I can’t believe this thread is still alive. It was revived almost a year to the day. I really like this lens. It is one of my sharpest and contrasty lenses that I have.
I bought mine here on FM for around $125 but it had a broken lens cap so I bought a Nikon 10.5mm cap and modified it to fit. Here is one from this weekend taken at the new Cowboys stadium. The stadium is one of the most amazing sites that I have ever seen. Oh yeah and the Cowboys won !
