Just a suggestion... Please number the photos as its much easier to comment that way.
With that said... It's quite obvious that you put a lot of work into these. They are a beautiful, tradtional series of shots. My favorites are the one of her alone by the lake and the shot of her alone at the fence. Good job.
Thanks emandavi. That is one of my favorites as well.
In looking at a lot of peoples pictures at this site it seems like my style is more traditional and most of the people on here are shooting more edgy stuff with tilts, lots of backlighting, creative angles and way more closeups and pictures of details.
I also really enjoy the PJ style when it is done really well.
These types of work I see here are inspirational for me as though I really like my own style which is to create a kind of fairy tale style I also want to branch more into these newer styles of creative wedding photography.
I hope to learn and experiment more with these more edgy styles as I spend more time here in this forum being creatively challenged.
I think that these are good!! I did not mean to come off the wrong way. I was just simply pointing something that you may have overlooked. I am sorry if you took it the wrong way.
These are really nice. Very fairy-tale like. My only nit is that the focus seems off on the b&w shot about 10 down. I notice this because I have a few shots in my own recent sets that are just a hair off in focus. It bothers me, but I doubt it will bother your client. The colors are beautiful. We don't get any color like that where I live. Then again, it is 80 degrees today, so I have no complaints.
Very beautiful shots, I like the traditional style.
I have one question, and excuse me if I'm not entirely PC on this (I come from a different culture, well, two different cultures actually) - what is the band across her waist? On some photos it's black, on others it's blue (black satin reflecting the sky?). Is it a kind of mourning symbol?
Hi Deb,
The focus is on the flowers in that shot.
I love the fall colors. Being a photographer I am sure you would also.
But......I would sure take that 80 degrees, we are in the middle of winter, snow on the ground and freezing.
