Fuji Crystal Archive is an RA4 paper used by photo labs.

It is available in rolls and sheets larger than 8x10.

Best way to get a sample is to contact an authorized distributor and request a sample pack.

I found the 8 x 10, not sure it will even print on my Epson R1800 using Epson ink.

Just noticed that labs use this paper, and since I print most everything at home. I wanted to see the results.

It is not a paper meant for inkjets. Not sure why you would want to see the results for a paper not intended for an inkjet.

Crystal Archive is not made to print in your inkjet printer.

It is a "wet" photo paper made to be exposed by traditional or digital light sources and developed in photo chemicals.

Fuji does make inkjet papers also but they have never really taken off in the USA. You can probably find some on ebay.

After what has been said, unless you plan on picking up a frontier or lightjet, you won't be using this at home.

That said, I like prints done on RA-4 paper (through a lab). I think they offer richer color than pigments in many cases and I've had RA-4 prints made at 20"X30" and 16"X20" on Kodak Endura. I get pretty much all of my 4X6 shots printed on this because it is cheaper than printing on my inkjet.

I like the control and choice of paper surfaces on an inkjet, especially one at home. But sometimes the traditional papers like Endura and Crystal Archive are great choices for a print.

Don't worry John, I would have fallen into the same boat. I was looking around for paper for my Epson 1400 and saw that costco used this paper and was looking around for prices and reviews. Whew.

You would have noticed the moment you took it out the packet, it's blue when unprocessed!
