His lovely yellow irises are gone, flooded with pupils the color of a dark and stormy Atlantic.

I love the very bold strokes of this, and the color isolation/separation. Great framing as well!

Oh, thanks Todd!

I was beginning to think that no one liked an old blind cat.

Try the Artist's Oils/Wet Oily Brush when you get the chance... creamy paint!
Excellent transparencies are possible with opacity variations and layering.

I see what you mean about pretty pictures with no meaning.

Yeah. A pretty picture with no meaning.

This is my 19 year old blind cat who is suffering strokes and seizures and is now dying.

It is in the description and it's painted in his blind eyes...
if you had given this painting any thought you would have noticed.

WOW, that is deep, its taught me to look even deeper (but the image in the link shows nothing of that and your description says filled with the stormy atlantic and i take it that you have just replaced the colour) . well done and thank you.

I think you won't know deep until you're drowning in your own belligerence.

Fellow, you define yourself here.

Perhaps it would be good to move on to another forum?

WOW, you all are too much!
Sorry to hear about the kitty, the explanation/simplification was helpful

Inviting people to leave the forum is not friendly, kind of grandiose behavior, imho

Hi Kathy.

Corel Painter... the medium is Artists' Oils, where you'll find the fabulous Wet Oily Brush.

There's a brief explanation of this painting process here.
