I like the idea but the top inset photo doesnt fit. I think you need a photo that would compliment the main shot, otherwise the brighter colors make the eye just jump to that one.
The ring shot I like, but maybe some skin softener would make it less like looking through a microscope. Skin cells arent attractive up close

I like 2 J. The idea of a montage is always good however they have to be complimenting images with complimenting locations. We have brick alley place and then garden .Don't mesh nicely.
I agree with everything said. The ring shot in my mind would be much nicer if indeed it was softer and also showing much more of the hand. Being a product photo guy I would have a soft hand shot and "burn" the diamond in PS a bit. As it now is that could be a toe ring if you know what I mean.
