A few from a wedding I did in late September.... Groom's family spoke Hebrew, Bride's family spoke Russian.... the only person who could hold it together was the 12 year old flowergirl, who spoke Russian, Hebrew, English and French...lol.
Anyway, still trying to figure wedding photography out, so C&C is welcome.
Well, I like 'em. Great drama, and the part about the 12 year old speaking all the languages is pretty funny.
BUT (there's always a but), I feel like a few of them are a tad too dark. I like 7 a lot, but feel like #8 she should have been looking at him since the profile doesn't really show. And I'm not quite getting #5. Why are they cut off? His shadow is pretty neat, but hers looks so huge compared to him...
Wow, quite a difference in these. Some of them are really great and some I don't care for at all. I really like #'s 1,3 and the last one without the vignette.
As far as the others go, they're all too overprocessed for my taste. Too much vignetting and contrast. I like to keep it simple.
I like them especially #2 that is a great capture and quite different to boot. The shadow shot I wish you got the brides head in, Love the dress shot but clone out whatever is hanging at the edge of the frame left side??
1) Bed frame is distracting
2) Nice image
3) Not working for me!
4) Nice image
5) Don’t like it based on cutting off the brides head
6) Nice image
7) Vail looks like it is causing the bride to close her eyes. Looks un-natural
8) Blown-out. Terrible image!
9) Nice image
10) Nice image
11) Don’t like the reflection of the sun
12) Nice image
Thanks Guys..... I think I'm starting to figure out more each day how to improve my product.....
@ Tony - you are totally right. I really have to tone down the PP... Someone once told me to use PP like a nail file, not a cheese-grater....lol.... Thanks.
@ Unforged....... I totally agree that some of them are too dark. Some of it is my screen resolution (I really need some feedback for good screen calibration)... but mostly I have this dark-side that seems to permeate its way into all my work....lol....
@ Just about everyone...lol... the shadow one really should include the Bride's head.... given that she is the one getting married.......hahaha....Just trying some new things, and bouncing them off of you guys (who typically know more than I do).
Anyway - thanks for all the feedback! Keep it comin'
