Striking contrast of light and mood, Alan. Very typical of the area, I know!
Fine work. I think I like the 2nd just a little more, for the low hanging sky and the water action.

I forgot to say, there is a slight change in view point due to the water level rising other the rocks where I previously stood.

Both are good but I also prefer the second one. Softer contrast and more atmosphere.

Nice shots Alan - I much prefer #1. I think the detail in the water fits the scene really well.

Interesting compositions - I would like to see a longer exposure of this location maybe with a three stop ND + a ND Grad. Sligachan offers many opportunities for slow speed photography especially with the magical changing light which reflects from the heavens onto the wonder mountain scenery of the Cullin...

Funny you should say that, after I came back from this trip, I purchased a set of Lee ND & Grad filters!
