Marking the occassion of my 7000th post here at the Fred Miranda Nature & Wildlife Forum. How cool is that! I don't have anything spetacular to mark the post so will just thow out a few recent shots mixed with a handfull from the past. Is that ok with you? Like I care

Great post my friend, congrats again sir ZM, I ditto what Ant has said... Spot on
PS my favorite it #2 it reminded me when I was climbing on Ants back in Yellowstone to get a shot of a moose that was just over the hill (not old)..

Just when did 7000 become a "Milestone" number
Congrats, anyway.
Nice to see the progress from our early efforts, isn't it?
That Harris Hawk shot has to rank up there with one of the all-time-great shot of a raptor on this forum.

ZOOM, that name is synonomous with image impressionisim IMO Judging by your likeable kite shot, it is evident that the bird along with the form was to be key ingredients in your pursuit of bird photography, more than 'just the bird' is apparent in all your shots.
Over my course of being here on FM N&W a few images have captured me in dramatic ways, Chad just recently posted one and with gleam I see your Shot #4 posted again, I had saved that image earlier as a goal, I felt it was phenominal and still do I often wish we could record our verbal expressions when we look at someones posts as we view them, had this been the case on #6 you would have received a sound of a very deep breath followed by a soft wooooowwwww Yep, that is a killer shot and a wonderful feeling captured in that one Ken.
The skimmer is exciting, and redtail #16 is very cool.
And oh yes, #17, famously known as the the 'down-low ZOOM-glow' Ahhhh
Congrats on 7K your comments have been very helpful for me and your images immensely motivating!
CONGRATS!!! on 7000. I always enjoy all your posts. #3 and #4 in this post are simply amazing. It is great to see the progression from your 1st post to the amazing shots you post daily now. Look forward to more.

Took a bunch of old crappy photos and reposted them...........
That's as bad as Re-Gifting !! You know >> Someone gives you a present for X-Mas you really didn't want. So you save it til next year and give it to someone else selling it off as something NEW you bought just for Them!!
What kind of person does this
I feel cheated that we couldn't even get NEW pics for such a prestigious post........
I'm a new member here and I have to say that this is a fantastic series.! You masterfully captured "the moments","the actions" and "the stories" of the birds and these are great examples for me to look up to. Thanks for sharing.
Wonderful contribution to the forum! Beautiful photos Ken, I've always enjoyed them.
I used to have my own health forum and stacked up 20,000 posts helping others, and I finally had to give it up, as the sitting, typing, and added photo editing just did a number on my neck, eyes and back.
I wish I could post more! It's alot of fun interacting. Congrats!
