I need help from the FM community. My father has several Leica bodies (m3's and m6's) and various lenses, can someone direct me to a resource for prices. He's been using more of his DSLR equipment and would like to sell his gear.
A recommendation would also make sure you offer that Leica equipment here to the FM members first. It will go to great people in this community and you may have a better chance to sell it to someone who will appreciate the equipment.
I've found KEH prices to be pretty reasonable...usually right about in the middle of what you can get on eBay (usually). Going at KEH prices, or a little lower, is a good bet.
KEH is usually about 10-15% above street. You also need to give buyers an incentive to buy private vs. from KEH. Take something off the top of KEH's prices and you'll be fine.
Other places to check (and to sell the gear) are the rangefinderforum and LUF

I'll agree with this. When I see something I want or need from a private seller I always go to KEH first and check their price. If KEH is in the same range I'll go with them as they are a known quality source. My private buys of Leica gear have all been at a price considerably cheaper than KEH. Case in point, I just paid $145 for a 50/2 from a private seller.
Several months ago I picked up a 90/2.8 and 135/2.8 from a private seller and paid $300 to get them both. Both of my examples are good deals for me and I would pay more if the seller was here with a good rep.
