So I think I remember seeing this issue brought up here a few times before, but I can't remember what the solution to the problem was.
Anyways, I've recently noticed that for some reason when I export photos from lightroom and then open them up in photoshop the colors look way more saturated and the overal contrast is more than what the preview of the output file was in lightroom. I notice it too if I open the TIF file with Mac Preview, it looks right not so saturated and contrasty, but then if I pull it into photoshop, it makes the photo look darker, more saturated and contrasty.
Anyone know what could be causing this?
I use Lightroom 2.0, then export to .TIF and then open with Photoshop CS3. I shoot in Adobe RGB and export in the same space and have my default PS work space set to the same. I've never notices this problem until just recently.
Any help would be grand! Thanks.
The issue keeps coming up and the answer is always the same .... it's in your setup, probably the way you have PS set to handle color space mismatches. Post a screen shot of your color management settings.
