Interesting observation, I couldn't tell via the thumbnail what the letter was. Perhaps with some PS work you could enhance all of the X's? A great start to the WA IMO. I wouldn't have noticed this.

Like the concept. However, I think a boost to contrast would help. Bring out the black and white better?
