"you agree that after your wedding day the photographer requires a honeymoon just as much as you do and, that it will be booked no later than 30 days prior to the wedding date "
If the bride does not provide said photographer with ample Tylenol, Advil, or the pain reliever of the photographer's choice, said photographer may opt out of the wedding. Bride understands that said photographer was hired to document the day, not become a paid professional (such as marital counselor, psychologist, etc.) to handle your drama.
Love this thread. I would have a 10 page contract easy.
"agree to read my contract and put it in a safe place so that I won't loose it"
"agree to email or call photographer no more than once in a two week period".
"agree to provide special parking for photographer at the reception".
"the photographer reserves the right to pull the plug or hijack the microphone from the DJ or any other attendee that goes on into uncomfortable old memories in a drunken stupor whilst "open mic" time is made available to the crowd after the best man's toast"
Para 204B: "If client expects the photographer to actually show up for the reception, CLEAR directions to the venue, including the ACTUAL name of the place (plus two contact phone numbers), are required. Vague descriptions such as 'it's down near where the old tire store used to be, the one that burned 5 years ago, and it's either red brick or maybe has a lighted sign out front' WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED."
Best,
Andy
