I've been lurking here for a couple of years and have learned plenty from all of you, but have never had the nerve to post my own stuff. Recently, I was "drafted" to be the team photographer for our local varsity high soccer team. I shoot every game and then post to a Shutterfly site for the parents. The school also uses the photos to produce a team yearbook. I do it for free and don't mind at all. I look at this as a learning experience to help my sports shooting.
Anyway, here are some from last weekend's tournament. Game time was early and the sun was low, causing half the field to be in shadows and half in bright sun.
I shoot with what I can afford, a 30D and a Sigma 70-200 2.8. It's short for soccer, but I'm content to shoot whatever action comes close by.
