That's strange, because I'd prefer a Nikon 200mm f2 over a Sigma 28-300 f3.5 - 6.3.

Guess it's true, I was once told it's not the length of your lens that matters but the aperture within.

....and also, be carefull not to zoom in/out the lens as it might loosen the "grease" inside the lens
