Hey, how is it going? Anyone heard about this lens? It's one of those no-name brand I guess, it kinda looks like the Chinon with the same focal lenght and aperture.

Anyway, the lens looks like this:

I held it up to my xti and focused away, who would have thought it work

? Here's two samples (LR punch and resized, click on them for the PP-less 100% version), one wide open and other at f/5.6. CA is very evident in some other tests.

Focus ring is smooth and build looks all metal. Should I keep it or should I make it a nice paper weight? I ordered a few adapters from Fotodiox yesterday but due to the lousy mexican postal service, i'm expecting them by next year.

And what do you know? both mexican an american postal services made me eat crow. Adapters showed up today.

color is really washed out wide open.

I paid close to 46 bucks for it along with a smc takumar 28mm f/3.5 and a vivitar teleconverter 2x and shipping included, just for kicks

I'll go out and shoot tomorrow, let me know if you want me to post some more samples.
