p.1 #1 · Nikon on Canon?

Can I mount old manual Nikon lenses on Canon (5D to be specific?)

I am interested in this 35mm f/1.4 in particular. Is their anyone using this combination? Any known problems? Any other points?

How does it compare to the contax 35mm 1.4? Or even the canon? (What other 35mm f/1.4 could I consider?)

You link didn't work for me so i cannot see what lens it is but most of the ai-s series older nikkor lenses are good for the price....

Hi, so the adapters exist. Great.

If you copy and paste the link it will work. It is a Nikkor 35mm 1.4. I do not know anything about Nikon so can not really say what else.

Are their any compatibility lists like their is for contax? Or do they just all work on the 5d?

Check out this link. It's the best I know of for compatability.

You shouldn't have a problem with most Nikon lenses if they are the ai, or ai-s.
