p.1 #1 · Lens Rental

Hey all,

Does anyone know a local place in Houston TX that I can rent lenses from. Other then Light tech? They don't really offer a large variety, and they have no insurance. Houston camera exchange does not offer that service.

I want to rent one of the super teles, and online I would be spending over 250 bux after shipping, locally Light tech is only charging 60 for the weekend but I really do not want to be held responsible for 4k+ with no insurance.

Thanks.

Sam if your renting I've heard that renters policies may cover lens rental. This is what my local shop has in their fine print "Insurance. Renters with various insurance plans can have Penn Camera put as a rider on
their policy. If interested, please refer to the rental deposit application (page 3) for details." But that is just if you rent. Go here to review their info http://www.penncamera.com/UserFiles/File/Rentals/Tysons_Rentals_10_10_2008.pdf

I'm like you I'd like to have something insured rather have to take it out of pocket if anything happened.
