p.1 #1 · First Christmas Bear

This little girl was more interested in holding a barrette than the bear I brought so stuck it in during the edit and hope it looks convincing.
Painted in CS4 using the spatter option and airbrushes.. also used the dodge and burn where needed.
Thanks for looking and any comments also appreciated!

I like how you blended in the Teddy Susi. It's getting to be that time of year again and hope to see a few more Christmas and Thanksgiving renditions from you.

It is a wonderful portrait Susi. I was having trouble with the size of the head on the right, but I think that it is the crop and two different presentation sizes that is throwing me off there...

Great job inserting the bear.

Nice work to it and a good idea with the clip in her hands and not the bear. I think it would look even better without the smudged part at the bottom, just my look on things, not meaning to sound petty.

Thanks Jon, each to their own, i questioned it too, but I had to get rid of the diaper and ended up liking the more painterly effect of the spatter brushing better than cloning.

It looks impressive.

My tiny crits are "see her left 3-4fingers", there is a red spot. Can you see it? Is what it is suppose to be?
Other one is a bit too much smudged on her right "skirt". (like what Jonthelens said)

The rest of it looks good.

That red spot is a shadow and I guess the amount of 'smudging' (or spattering) is a personal choice. Thanks for your comment Denny!
