I see you used a ring light. Generally those are used to shoot through, but you used it as a main light camera left. Any reason?

You've got some seriously blown highlights. Lighting is harsh.

Not sure about the pose.

You've got a nice start, but needs a bit of work.

is it a ring or a close in beauty dish?

I actually like the light here, I would PP the skin a bit more to take off the large imperfection (pimples) on the right side of her face.

Great pp on the eyes though.

I like the pose, or most of it and I do like the composition. I see you exposed for the eyes and let the rest go.
I suppose the ring light was used because it is your only light, if I remember correctly.
I find the lighting very harsh - the nose shadow for example.
I like the positioning of the catchlight. When a catchlight from a ringlight is centered over the eye, the eye tends to look weird or zombie-like.

A BD wouldn't leave that much black in the catch light, if any.

I like the makeup, the pose, the lightning. Perhaps should the diamond be on a diagonal with the mouth, just because here, almost on a vertical axis, it drive the looker eyes straight to the bottom of the picture. If on a diagonal axis, our eyes will first go to the (beautiful) shoulder.

in addition to what others have said: i certainly like high contrast images, but the lipstick color, for one, suffers from oversaturation-colors can pop while still looking somewhat true to the original-it can be a delicate balance

Love the light and her eyes. I just wish her lips were together.

I thought your pics have something special. Great pop on my monitor and very eyecatching.

Thanks for posting.

You were promoting the lipstick right? You did excellent for the first two. - just need more depth of field on the last one!

Just another opinion, but I really hate those catchlights. The little rings are too distracting.

-But I love everything else. The model is stunning and great expressions. The color really pops.

I can see how others say the exposure is blown-out, but this doesn't bother me, as it adds emphasis to the lips & lipstick.

If I saw either #1 or #2 while thumbing through a fashion magazine (something I only do in the Dentist's office ) they would definitely catch my eye and cause me to stop / look.
