Pretty scene. Where is this? I like the composition. I'd clone or crop out object extreme left mid-river. Might do a bit of touch up in PS or LS. You might end up with too much shift in mood, but I think the photo would be better with a slight bump in exposure and brightness and increased clarity or local contrast enhancement with USM. I'd also warm it just abit; seems abit too blue.

columbia gorge in oregon, reason for the blue is an haze from the wild fires and a coal firing plant..I tend to like the contrasting green to blue the object is a rock...
I just looked at my vacation shots of vista house from last year from a similar vantage point. It appears that the haze is a permanent feature. I like your processing, the trees are very vibrant. From a composition standpoint, since the monument is the focus of the photo it would be nice if it were brighter in the photo compared to the surroundings (i.e. wait for a break in the clouds so the sun is more directly illuminating it.) The shot looks more dramatic as a vertical and the subject larger in the frame. You can crop to get there if you did not shoot it in that orientation with a longer lens.
Beautiful spot, great shot. I like the dark moodiness, which is odd since I usually overdo exposure.
One thing kind of bugging me, though: The picture doesn't seem quite level. Yet, I can't figure out in which direction. I kind of think it needs to tilt slightly to the left, despite the odd angle of the house and trees.
-But what's with those trees on the right-half? They are all leaning to the right! Is this some weird perspecitve trick?
Or, perhaps, does your lens have a severe curvature distortion? I'm thinking that might be it.
Maybe I'm seeing things that aren't there, I dunno, but it sure seems odd.
