My hubby was being the amazing husband that he is, and took me to Glacier for the day...just so I could take pictures... something he does regularly. Yes, he is a saint...he has the patience of Job... as he just patiently hangs around waiting until I get my fill of whatever I happen to be shooting. Yesterday, it was a couple hours just watching these mountain goats. I shot them in the shade of the mountain, and find that with 2 different cameras, the white balance ranges significantly.. rather frustrating. Enough chit chat.
What an awsome animal! I always enjoy your wildlife photography, Shelley. #7 is my pick for favorite.
Have you tried to put a camera in your hubbies hands, yet? I find that my wife tolerates photography excursions best when she actually participates. If he has no interest in shooting and is still willing to wait a few hours, while you shoot, he is a good man indeed!
Shelley, isn't it nice when they're so cooperative? I'm referring to men as well as wildlife. These are wonderful - you succeeded in every way. Great set
Cooperative husbands, aren't they great Glad you both can enjoy the outing. Rugged terrain and these goats is very interesting. So very different than anything I get to see. Their agility to traverse these slopes is just amazing, nice scenery and nice photography

Shelley,
Maggie said it so well. I go without my husband, but he's willing to come & read a book while I'm shooting. Problem is - - he's a camera operator & I know he'll want to get in on it. That's fine for when I have to do portraits - cause then I get him to help me with bounce cards etc.
Wildlife he just trust me when I go out for hours with my photography buddies. Easier on me.
Great series - - love them, especially the little ones....
Wonderful series Shelley, I love the little one eating the flowers, too cute. You do go to some amazing places. Thank your hubby for us, he takes you there, you shoot, we see!
Sounds like you have the ideal hubby Shelly. Good for you both!
For me the first one sets the scene really well and shows how surefooted these animals must be to deal with this difficult terrain. I especially like the one with the daisies and the last one with both animals together looking backwards.

It's always great when the men as well as the wildlife cooperate.. especially when its at the same time.

Oh, Anthony... you are such a great person to put up with all of your wifes comments. Now, next time.. just bring her a book to read, lots of food, tell her she looks perfect, and that you are almost done. Just one more shot. Hope that helps.
Thanks for the look and comment by the way. I enjoyed the laugh.
