My current workflow starts in LR and moves to Capture NX. Has anyone figured out how to export a NEF file automatically from LR to Capture NX?
Lightroom only gives 2 options (TIFF, PSD). This means that I have to select the picture and drag and drop onto the Capture NX icon. It also means that I have to re-syncronize my working LR folder once I re-save the file in NX.
Am I missing something?
Also, I'm considering the upgrade to NX2, but haven't downloaded the trial. Any thoughts on NX2 (I like the NIK plugins too).
I don't think you can export NEF from LR. You could write the .xmp data to a sidecar file containing your edits, however, NX won't likely recognize or apply those edits.
