Spent the weekend in the mountains with more snow. I did see the big horn sheep again, and while I was watching a few of them, I looked up the hill side to see a bunch in a BIG hurry to get down to the others. I had enough time to grab a few shots of the herd running, and noticed as I was rapidly firing off shots, that one ram butted the other one, sending him into mid air... or else he got butted, and jumped. I can't believe the height he got. I was so glad to see I actually captured the moment.
Very nice Shelley, that first one is too funny! I really like the second and the whiskey jack. The second has such lovely tones and detail. You can see him sniffing a human in the air and looking right at you. Pretty neat.
What a moment captured on that first shot! Who would have thought Rams could fly, sure glad you got a picture because I wouldn't have thought so It looks like the guy behind may have supplied the boost, and the guy on the left looks like he is looking up in disbelief.
Your second shot has me wanting to reach in and touch it, looks 3D and very real, nice shot and processing. OK, never heard of a Whiskey Jack except maybe at a bar so I you on that one

Ha, thanks Karl. Another name for Whiskey Jack is also Gray Jay... but I kind of favor Whiskey Jack.
