I thought I was set up for a toad eats spider picture and all I got was a spider runs over toad's face picture. Must have been his lucky day or more likely toads don't eat these spiders. Thanks for looking and C&C.
That is a really interesting shot, Rob. I wonder what it would look like cropped closer. Like just the spider and the piece of the frog above the surface. Just a thought, I think that might be a cool crop. Thanks for posting this.
Very cool shot Rob, the first shot may show a bit more of 'anticipation' the second shot gives me the creeps , both are interesting, what a moment captured, too bad no action for you............
That's a very cool shot Rob. I like how you can see the whole body through the water. Spider is just an added bonus. The shot is killer even without the spider.
Nathan I think it's some sort of water spider, we see them on all the lakes and ponds. Brown recluse usually live on land in brush or forest litter. I think
