The bluejay has never been cooperative. The cowbird is also a first.

I never considered shooting a cow bird before but your pictures make me want to give them a try! The coloration is really nice on the last Blue Jay photo. What gear do you use?

Black birds are always a difficult task for me too. I like the way you have done the first image. Black bird in black BG. That is creative and more difficult. Congrats.

Ted,

Great shots and vibrant colors. I love #3 and don't think there is any way you could possibly improve on it. Definitely a solid 10.

You are on a roll here Ted Seems that light in the first two is a bit harsh for this contrasty bird, sure liked your other series in this light though. Gotta say that #3 rocks, just simple but bold, nicely done, very nice I am liking #5 jay too, like the setting on these, again, very nice Ted.

Love the first and the last one. The first for its unique light and the last for its colors. Thanks for sharing. Can you also teach me your framing technique?? PLEASE??

The first two cow birds were also taken whith the Cardinal series and I agree where the hard light worked with the Cardinal, did not work with the translucence of the cowbird. I appreciate your feedback Karl and compliments.
